Baby Steps
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
You have to walk before you run.
Baby steps.
Just do it.
How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. (My personal favorite.)
My clients often lament how overwhelming it can be to think about cleaning up their data. And they're right, it IS overwhelming. But the way to get started is to choose something small and do that thing. Maybe it's updating just one field in your database. Or maybe it's documenting just one process. Pick one thing and do that thing.
Remember: A body in motion tends to stay in motion. Once you get started you might be surprised at how easy it is to continue.
