The importance of regular internal users group meetings

One of the most frequent pieces of advice I give my clients is to host regular internal users group meetings. You can read all about them here.

Recently I received an unsolicited email from one of my clients, the American Society of Echocardiography.  Hilary Lamb, ASE’s Chief Operating Officer sent me the following email (which I’ve reproduced here with her permisssion):

“The user group was a GREAT IDEA.  We meet each Thursday at 9:30 and I am able to update the staff on progress, they can ask questions and I think they have learned a lot from just sitting in there while we problem solve.”

As I outlined in the other post, internal users groups are easy and inexpensive but VERY effective. There’s really no excuse not to use them.
