I recently read the book Factfulness, which highlights ten things about the world that are better than most people think. (The book is a fascinating read and I highly recommend it. In fact, I think it should be required reading for all high school students!)

Totally agree with the vibe of Factfulness it’s one of those books that recalibrates your brain a bit. I love how it doesn’t just say “things aren’t as bad,” it shows why we misread the world and gives you simple mental checks to stay grounded. Also yes: it should absolutely be on a high school reading list.
