An interesting new service for trade show planners

I had the opportunity to see a short demo of the new trade show planning service from eventr.io (www.eventr.io). This is a service free to trade show planners that brings together all the service providers for a given show to one site, so that show exhibitors can easily take care of all the logistics that an exhibitor needs (think pipe and draping, card readers, etc.).

Having worked on both sides of the equation (I worked on a huge trade show way back in the day as an association staffer, and I’ve been an exhibitor at some of the largest trade shows in the world), I find the potential for this offering quite fascinating.

As an exhibitor, I would love to be able to go to one site and see all my form deadlines, have access to all of my suppliers and forms, and know that I’ve got everything under control.

As a trade show planner, I would love to have all of this under one roof to be able to offer to my exhibitors.

There’s a lot more than what I’ve described, so have a look at their website and tell me what you think.
