Two New AMS Vendors Added to the List

I recently viewed demos from two new AMS vendors (well, new to me), which I’ve added to my list of software vendors providing membership management software.

The first addition is MemberNation from Fonteva, which has built an AMS on top of the salesforce (force.com) platform. This marks (at least) the second AMS vendor to do so (NimbleUser is the other) and I’m very pleased to see it, because salesforce.com is a good company and product, but as a standalone, is not appropriate for most associations’ needs. These companies have taken a solid foundation and are building association-specific functionality on top of it.

The second addition is the Membership Management System from Vieth Consulting. Vieth has developed a fully web-based AMS solution with much of the standard functionality you would expect (e.g., dues, events, committee management, etc.). Complete information on functionality and pricing is avaailable on their website.
