Are you using all of your AMS's features? And should you?

I read today that Nielsen reports that the average household has 189 channels. They watch 17 of them. That means the average household is watching less than 10% of all the channels it has access to. Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?

I often hear my clients say “We’re barely using any of the functionality offered by our AMS.” But again, is that a good thing, or a bad thing?

My experience is that most associations are probably not using as much of their AMS’s functionality as they should. But it’s also likely that most associations would never use all or even most of the functionality that a given AMS can provide. They just don’t have a need for it.

So talk to your AMS provider and find out which functionality you’re not using and determine if you should be.
