Background
A national trade federation had an AMS in a hosted environment. Due to a billing dispute between the federation and the AMS vendor, the vendor chose to cut off service to the federation, leaving them without an AMS. (Fortunately the federation had made a complete backup of the raw data in the AMS only two days before they were cut off from their AMS.)
Solution
Working with EDM, the federation was able to identify its primary data management needs, and using EDM’s experience with AMS vendors, quickly identify a solid solution that could be implemented on a very short timetable.
Result
Within six weeks of being cut off from their AMS, the federation was in a new association management system. Three years later, the federation still uses that system to manage the vast majority of its data management needs.
